So today I didn't do anything what so ever, I chilled at home all day, very unproductive, until Andrew texted me and said we should go do something, so I picked him up with the intention of going to take lifestyles in some parking garage, but when we drove up the parking garage we found this yellow flat bar that was like 3 feet high, and Andrew managed to do a front board on it!

Xmas and Saturday stuff

Xmas was pretty rad for me. Chilled at home all day, ate a great dinner, and scored well on presents. Here's a little list on what I got for Xmas.

Today, I finally got new flashes but I can't use them until I get the pocket wizard sync cords. Skating wise Me and Andrew went skating with Mike T, Jarrad, Tyler and Kyle Adams at Big Surf, I didn't shoot any stills there, I only shot a few sequences on Mike's 1D MK1 so if I see those i'll post em' up. After words me and Andrew went back to my Dad's house and kicked it, then we went to Pecos for rest of the night.

Xmas eve eve

Tonight Andrew, Matt and myself met up with Caleb, Derek, Nick and Zak at the 3 flat 4 in Phoenix and lit it up to skate, film and shoot photos. It was a pretty fun little session. Here are some photos from the session.


Andrew Crawford, tre flip. Andrew did this back in August, and never got a chance to get good footy of it. So we went back tonight for him to film it. I didn't like photo from August at all so I re shot and got a way better result. You can see the old photo HERE. I also shot Walker Otto's front shove on this the same day.

Also, today I went to pecos with Andrew, and Stevie D and Eric O showed up, so it was fun skating with them!

Tonight I bought myself a early xmas present and got a set of lights, because I realized they come in handy for skating and they also can be used for photography stuff to so i'm hyped on them, look for some cool non skating photos soon!

Sunday

So on Sunday, Me, Derrick, Cody, Jarrad, Dustin, Chris and Mike T went skating in Phoenix and Tempe. First we went to Southern Ledges and everyone got lines, and I learned Nollie back 360's! Then we went to Big Surf and skated that for a few hours.

I have one semster left of high school

All I wanna say to that is Oh Sh*t. Really! It feels like just yesterday I was a freshman, and now i'm almost done with high school and going to be moving on to college. Its crazy.
I made this post to let y'all know that I'm almost done with high school and that its winter break and I'm going to be skating a lot so look forward to a lot of posts this break!

Saturday night

This is really odd that I'm doing everything at night when its almost winter. You would think being from Arizona you'd wanna light up spots and hang out at night in the summer, but nope we're doing that in the winter when its cold. Haha.

So Today I chilled at home, helped decorate the xmas tree, and just lurked the interwebz. Also, one of my cats at my mom's got in a fight or something with a small dog because there's these bite wounds on the top of its head, poor kitty. Enough talking about my cat and more about tonight.

The night started out at the UBF team party at Mesa East bowl in AJ. Its super cool that Lisa invites me to these things, I don't skate for UBF, but I'm basically the team photog so it's cool being a part of the UBF family. Basically everyone was there, Lisa, Craig, Allison, Dustin, Derrick, Andrew, Jarrad, Tj, Travis, Cody, Bailey, Alli, and even Taylor the sol tech rep for AZ and Shelby the Circa rep for AZ came to! We bowled for a few hours, and I did okay considering I'm not good at bowling at all. Allison designed these sick shirts for the party that say "I only skate because I suck at bowling" which is true, even though I suck at skating to haha.

10pm rolled around and I headed out the the music venue called Club Reb in Tempe because a few friends of mine who play in a band were headlining a show. Anil asked me to shoot some photos so I did. Then I went and chilled at a friends house for a little then went home and edited the photos I shot from the show. Now its 2am and I'm making this post, so if there's any errors its because I'm barley awake right now. Two crazy nights can take a toll on me.

Friday Night

So tonight me, Derrick, Mike T, and these little turds named Joey and Tyler went skating in Phoenix and Tempe at a couple spots to film and shoot photos. Mike T pretty much has a pro status filming set up, 3 spot lights, a good generator that isn't super loud, and two cameras, so he's set. (For those of you who don't know, Mike T is the new Team Manager for UBF, so he'll be filming a lot for the new UBF video so its going to be even 10x more sicker) Mike's a really cool guy, always down to go shred. Tonight was the first time I didn't have to drive around to every spot we went to so I was super hyped.

The first spot we went to was this 3 flat 4 out in South PHX, its at this Muslum church so its super buttery with a marble floor run up.


Derrick did a really nice switch flip down it. I tired shooting this fisheye but Derrick hit me twice so I got over it. I really want to go back during the day and re shoot this

After we got done here, we went to this ledge spot in Phoenix that we found driving back to downtown, before we got to skate it the little turds broke the ledge so we left haha. We decided to head back to Tempe and we stopped at the mortuary ledges for a little bit.

Big Surf

So yesterday my friend Alex who rides scooters asked me if I wanted to go to Big Surf and shoot some photos of him and Jon riding it today (Sunday0. Knowing I probably wasn't going to do anything today I decided to go. I haven't been to Big Surf in two years and I forgot how sketchy it was going. We parked next to Oceanside hockey arena and walked around and found a hole in the fence so I didn't have to hop any fences. I haven't shot with any scooter riders in almost a year, so it was cool hanging out with some old friends.

So has we were leaving we noticed the huge gate in front was open and people were working, it was pretty sketch. They saw us walking out and didn't seem to care so that was cool.

A Saturday in AJ

So today Matt and I made the trip out to AJ to skate with Andrew and the kids out there for the day. We only went to two spots but Andrew got footy at both spots so it was a good day. After we got done skating, we went to UBF and ate Hot n' Readys and watched U of A beat USC, so it was a really good day.


Andrew didn't want to skate this when we were going to the spot for someone else to skate, but he ended up heel flipping it. He landed this one.

I haven't updated this for awhile because I really haven't done anything exciting to update this. But finally this weekend came along and something went down. The dudes from California were in town for the "Foolishness" premier at the warehouse, at first I thought it was just going to be Papa D, his family, then Zac, Chris, Deezle, P-Hart and Eggy who came. But, Rachel Evans, Daniel Hart, Jordan Raths and Shannon Hudson (yes i like to name drop) came as well, so it was really cool seeing them in Arizona. They were only here for a day but it was still pretty fun hanging out with them and I shot a photo this weekend to!


Deezle got buck wild and threw a hardflip down the Tempe town lake 9 set, he broke his board trying it and we thought it was over but two trys later he rolled away, it was sick.

I really don't feel like posting about what I did during the week day by day because it probably makes you wanna stop reading. Anyways, I got sick this week for the first time in like a year. But the good thing is I shot a photo and have a sequence to and a photo from two weeks ago!

California trip

So last Friday, I took off to California and when I say I, I'm mean Me and only me. I drove solo to California for my first time because the people I was driving couldn't wait till Friday to go so they ditched me and left Thursday. Anyways the drive wasn't bad, expect there was a lot of semi's out on the I-10 and it made the drive take longer than it should, and there was a roll over accident in Riverside so I had to sit in traffic for a bit, but other than that and talking to myself a lot and yelling at the cars in front of me it was a good drive. I left right after school on Friday and got in around 5:30, picked up Sean and headed down to the Siren and Reliance warehouse for Zac and Chris's Pro party. Zac asked me to shoot some photos at the thing, and I thought I was just going around and snapping off a few photos but when I got there Rachel and Hannah set up a "photo booth" thing so I ended up shooting people at that the whole night, it was really fun. Eggy Boy and Chris played a set there to, they are called Chris and The Egg, it was pretty sick. Josh Harmony played for at least 2 hours, he played all his new stuff and some old stuff to, it was rad. The party went on until like midnight and after cleaning up all of us went down the Dennys and got a nice midnight meal then after that I went to the house where I was staying and kicked it with Zac, Eric and Rachel for a bit, then ended up sleeping on the floor because I was way to lazy to pump up my air mattress, all I wanted to do was sleep.

The next day I went skating with Eric, Britt, Caleb, Nick and Stephen, we went to a couple spots and Caleb and Britt got tricks, I drove my car in the 405 ditch to, it was pretty fun. After we got done skating we all went back to the house and chilled, then Eric, Britt and I went a picked up Sean from Biola and went to the KKSM demo in Downly. Chris, Casey, Carney, Eric, P-Hart, Davey, Deezle and Eggy shreded and Davey preached the Word and two kids got saved, it was cool. After words Eric, Britt and I went back to the house and chilled then Zac, Rachel and I went and got food, then went back and chilled with everyone and went to bed, well I didn't end up going to bed till 3 because I was editing photos from the Pro party.

Sunday was pretty rad, woke up kinda early to go help move ramps with Chris, Casey, Eggy, Deezle, Darren, Eric, Davey, Britt and Rick. Then we all went to starbucks and got our coffee on, then Britt, Eric and I went to church. After church we went back to the house and hung out with Rachel while Zac was picking up Josiah from LAX. After they got back Josiah, Jordan, Eric, Britt and I went and got some food then went skating. We had only like 2 hours left of daylight so we didn't have that much time to go shred. We went to this gap thing that Chad Tim Tim nollie back heels in the Sol trailer, but they was a car in front of it and we got the boot because I guess Asians go to school on Sundays. Then we went to this bump over a flat gap but there was this huge dark tree shadow in front of it, so it was nasty looking for photos and filming, so we went to this super long ledge in Huntington and filmed and shot a photo, it got dark when before we were done skating so we took off. I dropped off Josiah and Jordan at the house, then went and picked up Hannah and got on the road back to AZ. Left at about 7, Arizona time and got back at 1.

It was a really fun trip, it was the kind of trick when I didn't want to leave. I'm going back sometime during my winter break, so I'm pumped out that.

Good weekend

The weekend started out on Friday night, I went to the Corona game at Basha and it was gnarly, there was a fight between Corona fans and Basha fans, and we (corona) won both the game and the fight haha, my car got keyed after the game though. After the game I went to the warehouse then went over to one of my friends house and kicked it.
Saturday I went skating with Derrick, Cody, Dan, Eric, Gustavo, Steve, Ethan, Bryan and Nick Fiorini. It was pretty cool, shot a few photos of Gustavo and Nick to. Then I went home and chilled for rest of the night.
Sunday I just hung out at home and worked then went to my school to film a Lip Dub we did for the bonfire, it was fun.
So overall it was a pretty sick weekend. Now it the beginning of the week and it should be a fun week, my school's bonfire is tonight and Friday morning Stevie, Nick, Caleb and I are going to Cali for Zac and Chris's pro party!

Fall break suckaaaa

Yeah so today is the last day of my last fall break because College doesn't do fall break. Anyways, I haven't updated this thing for a few weeks, probably because I haven't done anything to update it. So here is a update for ya.

I went skating with Eric, Andrew, Lucky, and Matt last weekend, didn't really shoot anything but it was still fun. On Tuesday I went to Cali with Matty B because my dad, his girl and my sister and her friend were going to go to Knotts, it was pretty fun even though we didn't skate has much has we wanted to because it rained like 75% of the time we were there. Skated Costa Mesa a lot, shot some photos, skated the Volcom warehouse park and hung out at the Siren/Reliance warehouse. Thursday night we went home, we left Newport Beach around like 9ish and got home at like 1:30am, wasn't a bad drive at all. Friday I went skating with Andrew and Matt and shot some photos and they got footy, Saturday I went skating with Gustavo, Dan and Derrick, shot a photo and they got footy. And now its Sunday and I'm not doing anything, just going to chill. So it was a pretty cool fall break. Oh yeah, Tomorrow is my last night of night school finished 9 weeks early suckas. Now I just going to focus on passing AIMS so I don't have to deal with it in the spring and shooting has many photos has possible. And Me, Stephen, Caleb and Nick are going to Cali in two weeks, wooohooo.

The Swine flu

Took over and pretty much everyone I skate with is sick so I didn't shoot any photos this weekend expect 2 at the KKSM warehouse, and now I think my computer is getting a virus because when ever I type like a P or I it comes are all bad. I need a mac.

Dahhhh

So last week was pretty boring, didn't do that much. Pretty much just did the same thing every day. School, go home, do nothing, work or what ever and maybe skate. I didn't really do anything this weekend. Shot the football game on Friday night, skated the warehouse, chilled at my friends place and then went home. Saturday I skated Pecos in the morning, then went to the Dbacks game, then went to the warehouse. Sunday I went to El Mirage with Stephen and Sergio, and Eric and Lucky ended up meeting up with us there, shot a photo of Eric, after that Stephen, Sergio and I went to downtown PHX and mobbed around then I went home for a little then went to Church and that's really it.

Damn Good Fun

Last week was pretty eventful, not. I didn't do much last week, I think I slept half the time because I was catching up with sleep I lost in Cali from the week before, I went to bed at 8:30 one night. Anyways I didn't really do anything until Friday night, went to the KKSM bible study like usual and skated there till like midnight. Then on Saturday I went skating with Derrick, Andrew, Eric, Marcus, and like 8 other people, went all met up at this ledge spot in Gilbert, then we went to the Highland gap and almost everyone threw down, here are some photos...

After highland we went to Tumbleweed gap but it got dark fast so we didn't have time to do anything. And I stepped on a nail so it sucked more. Everyone was over skating after tumbleweed so I went to the warehouse for the Saturday night bible study then skated till like 11 then went home and edited photos then crashed.

Sunday was pretty fun. Derrick, Dustin and I went to downtown Phoenix and skated for a little bit.

So thats really it. Umm, I have 3 more weeks of school left and then first quarter is done and Me and Eric Dutton are going to Cali for like 3 days to skate and we are going to Knott's Berry Farm, soo stoked for it!

ASR

So last week I went to San Diego with UBF for ASR then went to Newport with Britt for two days after, it was pretty dope.

Britt, Tommy, Derrick and I left for San Diego around 6am Wednesday morning. We took the i-10 to the 85 to the i-8 and it felt like it took forever! I really don't like the 8, to many hills and border stops, oh well. We got in to San Diego around 11:30 but we had to drive up to Carlsbad for Crossroads, kinda wish we took the 10 to the i-15, it might of been faster. Anyways, we got to Crossroads around 12, perfect timing. Crossroads is like ASR, its a trade show that Jamie Thomas started at the Black Box Distribution warehouse but its just skateboarding companies. It was pretty cool, met a lot of cool people, talked to some guys I haven't seen in awhile and got some free stuff. After Crossroads we got some food then took off for our hotel, but we made a stop in Del Mar to skate that bank to ledge next to the train tracks on the beach, its a rad spot. I shot a couple photos there, but I'm going to hang on to one of them. He's a photo of Britt's front smith..



After that we went to our hotel. It was in the heart of Downtown San Diego. We pretty much just settled in and hung out for rest of the night.

On Thursday, we woke up around 8:30, got ready, went to breakfast then headed down to ASR at the San Diego Convention Center. The convention center was a couple blocks away from our hotel so we just skated to it, pretty rad. For those who don't know what ASR is, its a trade sport for pretty much any action sports related company or shop, its pretty rad. We spend about a hour there, then Derrick, Britt and I decided to drive up to Costa Mesa to go RVCA to hang out with Carney, we went to Costa Mesa to and skated with Zac and Dillon for a little. After Costa Mesa we went to the beach and watched an amazing sunset, stopped at Dough Boys then headed back to San Diego. Once we got back to the hotel, Britt, Adam, Bailey, Cody, Allie and I went to TGI Fridays and got some food, then went back to the hotel and crashed.

Friday was a rad day. We went to ASR in the morning then went skating. We hit up some rad skatepark in San Diego. They had this huge bowl in the back and Dustin and Cody were shreding it. Here are some photos.

After we got done there we went to this ledge spot under the Coronado bridge then headed back to the hotel, went to dinner then went back to the hotel and chilled. I went over to Coronado just to check out the view of downtown San Diego, driving on that bridge is gnarly!!!

Saturday was the last day of ASR, everyone expect Mine and Adam's car left in the morning. So Britt, Adam, Bailey, Allie, Cody and I went to ASR for a little then Britt and I left for Newport. We ended up driving striahgt to LA to meet up with Zac, Carney, Austin, Sean and Daniel. After LA we went to Chino park then we went back to Costa Mesa, hung out for a little, then went to Tyler's house and crashed.

We went to church Sunday morning, chilled for a little then went to Costa Mesa with Zac, Sean, Daniel and Lance. Then Britt and I took off for AZ.

So that was pretty much my trip. Super fun. Can't wait for next year. I'm going back to Cali in a month for Knotts with Dutton so it'll be sick!
