Last week.

I went to Cali this weekend and that deserves a different post because how random the trip was but anyways here's what I did last week.
Um, I just chilled out for the week, went to Pecos like twice and learned two new tricks and starting getting close to a couple other. Went to Pump It Up with my yearbook class and went skating with Andrew on Thursday and shot a photo.

3 more weeks.

I have 3 and 1/2 more weeks of school left. We don't do anything expect party and take finals during the last half week of school so it doesn't count. This also means I have 4 weeks to save up for my first California trip of the summer, which means I have to work a lot. Anyways, this week was pretty chill, skated Pecos a couple times during the week. Found out that I can get closer to fakie heels than regular ones, and its not fun when to get hit in the face with your board because you can't kickflip right. Haha.


I went to Tucson on Saturday with my friend Andrew and we met up with Eric Hill and some other guys. Shot a lot of photos and they turned out pretty good. I'm pretty psyched that I'm starting to shoot with a lot of good people. I'm starting to notice how my photography is progressing.

So I shot a couple photos during the week and I wanted to share them with you guys, or at least the one or two people that look at my blog. I found out i'll be the featured photog for AZ Steez skate magazine for the September/October issue, so I have now till August 1st to shoot 5 pages worth of photos, I won't be posting some photos for awhile, probably the only photo's you'll see till that issue comes out will be park photos or photos I don't think meet my expectations for the mag. 5 more weeks

Summer is just around the corner. I can smell it. Its coming quick, in yearbook we are making the end of the year slide show already, Prom is on Saturday and I'm already doing Senior stuff for next year. Crazy on how fast this year has gone by.

Anyways, I've been pretty busy these past couple weeks, having my friends come in town a couple times and just been real busy and now i'm starting to chill for a few weeks before summer starts.

Last week or two weeks ago, i don't remember, anyways, Zac and Chris were in town for the PHXAM, Chris wasn't skating it but Zac was. So pretty much all last week I was hanging with them.

The PHXAM was fun, Me, Rachel, Stevie, Ninette, Britt and Sergio went the first day, Zac didn't do to well but at least he was there and made an appearance. After Zac's second run we left with some of the Ergo and Untitled guys and skated a few spots then went to the warehouse and called it a day. Sunday was pretty fun as well, we didn't end up going to the last day of the PHXAM, instead Me, Stephen, Rachel, Zac and Chris went skating. It was pretty fun, ended up having a broken tail light thanks to Zac and an orange. Later that night we chilled at the Weigele's and went to In and Out and I didn't end up getting home until like 1am.

Last weekend we had a three day weekend because of Good Friday, so on Thursday night I went skating with Matt and my friend Andrew, he's an AJ local, and he kills it, he rides for UBF.

It rained this weekend and I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty nice. Pretty much just chilled with everyone this weekend. Pretty fun.

Also, I got a new hair cut last week. I like it a lot.

Cali aftermath

So i've been home from Cali for three weeks now and these past three weeks have been pretty busy, skating and working a lot more. I'm trying to get my Dad paid back so I can get some money saved up to go to Cali a couple times this summer and to go one more time before school gets out in May. I'm 6 1/2 weeks from becoming a senior in high school. I've been thinking a lot lately and I finally came to the decision that I'm going to move out of my house a few weeks after Graduation and move to Cali to start my adult life, I know its crazy but i know I can make it in Cali and its all in God's hands and I know he'll point me in the direction I need to go. Anyways, so Zac, Eggy and Chris came back to AZ with us when we left Cali for a demo in Lake Havasu and they hung out in Phx for a few days.


We went to Pecos the day after we got back and had a nice little session. Zac was throwing down. He did a nice Switch 5-0 pivot from the small quarter to the extension at Pecos.

After the guys left for Havasu, life was back to normal in AZ, just school, work and skating. I didn't really have any big skate trips lately, just some nice Pecos sessions.


Its been real windy here lately, kinda sucky but one day there was this huge tumbleweed at Pecos so we put it next to the up ledge and Randen did a kickflip over it. I don't like tumbleweeds tho, my flash hasn't been knocked over yet by a board but that day a tumbleweed hit my lightstand but Randen saved it at the last second, i'm not kidding it was centimeters away from hitting the ground, closest call i've had.

Last Thursday my good friend Rachel from Oregon/Idaho/Cali came to town to go to the PHX AM and to hang out. Its cool to have her back in town, she's a fun person to hang out with.



Matt and I went skating last weekend and he came away with this nosegrind on a 3 flat 3.


On Tuesday Zac and Chris came back to AZ because Zac's skating in the PHX AM, props to Ninettie for making a 6 hour car drive Monday afternoon to Newport Beach to pick these guys up because Zac's car wasn't starting. After school Tuesday me and Matt met up with Zac and skated Pecos, then picked up Rachel and Eric and went to Poeria park for a little then we went back to Pecos and met up with Stephen and Britt then we all went to Chandler and skated. After words we hung out for a bit then we all went home around mid night.

Matt and I didn't have school Wednesday because the sophomore's had to take AIMS. So we got to help move the KKSM office and skatepark to a new building. At first when we were loading the stuff into the truck at the Weigele's it was only Matt, Chris, Zac, Rachel, Eric, Stephen and I, it took us like 2 hours to load everything, then once we got to the warehouse Mason, Britt and a couple other people showed up and helped move stuff and it only took about a hour to unload everything. We took a break and chilled for awhile, while they we're cleaning out the warehouse so we could set up the skatepark. After the warehouse was clean, we set up the skatepark and started skating. Everyone was there, Chief, Jacey, Lizzie, Eric D, Eric O, Rachel, Robbie, Zac, Chris, Hannah, Barbie, Matt, Stephen, Mason, and more. It was fun skating and hanging out with everyone. Thursday, Matt, Eric O, Stephen, Zac, Rachel, Sergio and I went skating, then we went to the warehouse and skated some more. Chris, Hannah, and some of the guys from Untitled skateboards came to. We skated until about 12:30am, it was fun. Then I got to go home and get 5 hours of sleep, to wake up and go to school.

Whelp, thats about it, going skating after school and PHX AM this weekend!!!

California trip. Spring Break 09

The more I'm out in Cali or the more I'm with my friends who live in Cali the more it makes me want to live there and the more I hate AZ. I never really like Cali enough to move there until I went to Newport Beach.

Wednesday morning me and Matt left for Huntington Beach around 7. It was my first time driving the whole way to Cali. We got into the Orange County area around 12, that's only 5 hours, the drive is supposed to be 6, and I stopped like three times. Our first stop was Zac's work, Izzy's Bagels, lets just say this place kills Einstein's and Starbucks. After we just drove around the Huntington area until Zac got off work. Once Zac got off we went to RVCA and met up with Carney, then we went to Zac, Chris and Eggy's house in Newport, aka 51st and Riv. Its a really cool place to live, its seriously on the beach, and then Jack n' The Box, Circle K, Choinc Tacos, and Dough Boys is right down the street, so close it makes more sense to Skate there then drive. I could live off of those places haha. I met most of the other people Zac, Chris and Eggy live with, they're pretty cool guys. We chilled there for a while then went to Costa Mesa park. Its a pretty fun park and the locals are pretty chill to. Learned back tails there better. Shot a photo that night to.

Later that night, we drove to Balboa and met up with Stevie, Nick and Caleb, then went back to the house and chilled.

The next day we went to some ditch spot where Zac was trying back noseblunts, after we chilled at the Riv for a bit, then went to Costa Mesa for a little session. We went back to the Riv after the session, hung out for a little, then went to this Cave on a beach and had a fire, and chilled.

The tide started coming in pretty close so we left and went back to the Riv, chilled for a little bit then left.

Friday, Me and Matt woke up and went a visited Zac at work, then went skating, then went to the Riv and chilled for a little bit, then we went to Costa Mesa again and skated and filmed a montage, then went back to the Riv, chilled went to Jack n' the Box and ate, then Stephen, Chris, Dillion, Zac, Britt and Me decided to drive to Long Beach to check out the one pier rail that Nick Trepasso 5-0 for his banger in And Now. So we packed my car up with 6 people including me and went a adventure to find this spot. After we stopped and looked at it we went to In N' Out then went back to the Riv, and that pretty much was the end of the day.

Saturday was a our last day in Cali, so Me and Matt drove to Diamond Bar in the morning to say Hi to a few people, then we drove back to Newport to meet everyone at the Riv because Chris, Zac and Eggy were going back to AZ for a demo. Chris left with his Dad so Zac and Eggy ended up driving back with me and Matt. We decided we were going to drive down to Carlsbad before leaving to skate this one spot. We didn't end up leaving Carlsbad until around 9:30pm, I was planning on driving most of the way until we hit some gnarly fog, so I pulled over and let Zac take over, the fog was intense, I was freaking out, it lasted for about 20 miles. But after it was all gone it was cool. Zac ended up driving the rest of the time because I was tired. Matt and Eggy were cashed out so most of the drive was just Zac and I talking about retarded stuff, being stupid, listening to music, and Zac was trying to be cool and drive without headlights on and go 120mph in my car. I was pretty pumped to find that my car can go that fast. Once we got into town in was about 3am, and I was getting really loopy haha. We had to stop at FillyB's tho because we were very hungry, then we got to the Weigele's around 3:30am. Me and Matt ended up staying there for the night since it would of been very dangerous for me to drive home. I didn't end up waking up until about 12:30ish Sunday afternoon.

I ended up taking Matt home around 1:30ish, then I went home, changed, then went skating with Zac, we went to Pecos and Zac was skating really good.

Then I went home and realized I had school in the morning then crashed.

This spring break will definitely be one to remember. Can't wait to go back to Cali in 3 weeks.

Random Weekend. Spring Break blog 1.

Yeah, I think the title explains it all, this weekend was random. This is how.

My weekend and spring break started on Friday at 8am because I left school early, I didn't want to watch freaking 6 movies in all my classes. So I went home and slept till about noon, then I picked Eric Justice up at target and taxi'd him around. Then I went home and worked. Until around 2:30 where the randomness began. Dane calls around 2:30 and asks me if I wanted to go with him when he gets a tat and he wanted me to call Zac and see who he went to when he lived out here. So I call him and find out that him, Chris, Eggy and their friend Dylan are like three hours outside of Phoenix, even more random. So I was pretty surprised and excited to see the homies, so I worked for about two more hours until about 6 and then went to Pecos until around 7:30ish. Then I met up with Zac, Chris, Eggy, Dylan, Lizzie, Hannah, Jackie, Miley, and Ninettie at First Friday. Everyone seemed really psyched to see each other so it was really cool, hung out there for a little. Then around 10:30 we left and I went to the Weigele's and met up with Dane, Eric and Caleb. Chilled there until around midnight, then I went home and crashed. So Friday was probably one of the most random days of my life, but it was really cool to see everyone.

Saturday was a fun filled day.
First I went to visit Zac while he was getting a 4 1/2 hour tattoo done. Dylan and Ninette were there to.

About half way though the color of the tat, I left and went with Chris, Stephen, Britt, Nick, Hannah, Jackie and Dylan and went to a spot for a little bit. After that, I dropped Stephen, Nick, and Britt off then picked up Matty B and we went to the Weigele's for the bible study. After the study we hung out for awhile.

Sunday was a pretty chill day, slept in, then picked my Dad up from the airport then went to Freedom with Eric D, Matt and Dane and got a new deck for Cali. Skated, then went to church. After church we decided since it was spring break that we wanted to go skate more, so we went to the Mortuary ledge.
